Developmental milestones are an important topic in pediatric, Every year one question has been asked in TU and KU exam and 1-2 asked in viva of pediatric. It is asked for 5 to 8 mark in the final theory year exam.
And it is also important for our day-to-day life clinical practice as a physician/paediatrician.
Developmental milestones are behaviours or physical skills seen in infants and children as they grow and develop. Rolling over, crawling, walking, and talking are all considered milestones. The milestones are different for each age range. There is a normal range in which a child may reach each milestone.
